Yucca WALBERTON’S® Bright Star

Yucca gloriosa = ‘Walbristar’

Yucca gloriosa WALBERTON’S® Bright Star = ‘Walbristar’ is a tri-color variegated plant with shades of ivory, pinks, and greens. Cool conditions or water stress will bring out the pink in young plants, otherwise, the pink color will appear when the plants get older. This is one gloriosa that is reliable in tissue culture so that consistency and uniformity can be achieved. Like most yucca, it’s slow-growing with strong sword-like leaves. ‘Bright Star’ develops a short woody stem and the leaves are broad and stiff similar to an Agave with a trunk. Drought tolerant, yucca is well suited for xeriscapes and in low-maintenance containers.
