Digitalis WALBERTON’S® Goldcrest

Digitalis grandiflora x obscura = ‘Waldigone’

This sterile variety, Digitalis WALBERTON’S® Goldcrest = ‘Waldigone’; blooms continuously from midsummer into early fall. It forms a low rosette of dark green leaves, bearing taller stems that hold spikes of dangling bells. Blooms are an intriguing peachy-yellow tone, marked with maroon-red spots. The plants are well-branched, with strong, upright stems ensuring a succession of blossoms over a long period. It looks especially nice when planted along fences, at the wood’s edge, or in large containers.
