Cercis ‘Ace of Hearts’
Cercis canadensis
A dwarf Eastern Redbud! The original plant is only 12’ tall by 15’ wide in 8+ years and will probably mature at about 15 feet. A true genetic dwarf. Great numbers of pink blooms in spring, followed by dark green foliage that turns yellow in fall.
Cercis canadensis ‘Ace of Hearts’ has very small unique stacked leaves reminiscent of shingles on a roof. The Redbud forms a compact tree with a dense, dome-shaped canopy. The tight, compact habit makes this the perfect tree for smaller sized yards.
One of the most distinctive redbuds in leaf!
