Salvia ‘Ultra Violet’

Salvia = ‘Ultra Violet’

An exciting new Salvia exhibiting a compact and floriferous habit with an unusually iridescent deep purple flower. It is both more compact and hardier than so many of the existing Salvia greggii types that are already on the market. Because of its tidy growth habit, it will make a nice commercial greenhouse plant. In addition to its ornamental value, this salvia makes a wonderful flowering xeriscape plant and establishes easily in the garden. It really shows its stuff in the second year. Browse resistant – deer and rabbits! Better Homes and Gardens lists as a top perennial for dry sites.
