‘Pop Star’ is a new addition to the acclaimed  Whetman® Dianthus Star Series.
This double-layered dianthus is short and sassy, sweet and spicy-scented with
deeply fringed, lavender pink flowers with dark magenta centers held erect above
the foliage. Flowers bloom from May through September. The blue-green foliage
creates a uniform, compact, clean and tidy habit that typically mounds at 7” high
with a 12” spread at peak bloom time. ‘Pop Star’ is perfect for early season
containers, rockeries, and border edges. Drought-tolerant once established,
they are good for low-water use landscaping, thriving in full sun and
fast-draining soil.
