PlantHaven is an independent agency providing expert service to plant breeders who wish to patent and market a new plant variety. We collaborate with nurseries nationally and internationally for extensive testing of the plant. If the plant is deemed unique with a market advantage, PlantHaven then assists the breeder in Patent application, and obtaining Plant Breeder’s Rights overseas. It is then licenced to various propagators or distributors. PlantHaven works on commission of royalty, so motivation is entirely in finding the best propagators for the best new varieties and offering marketing support to maximize profits. We do not produce or sell the plant varieties we represent.
