South American Travels
Joey Wiseman and Robert Bett of PlantHaven International visited the Dümmen Orange facilities in Guatemala recently and were very impressed with all they saw. The Dümmen Antigua Flowers facility grows Perennials and Dümmen Oro Farms grows annuals.
The PlantHaven team met with head growers, Ricardo Echeverria at Antigua and Gustavo Chacon at Oro Farms. They saw superb quality vigorous cuttings of REALFLOR® Leucanthemum, Euphorbia, Gaillardia and a variety of additional PlantHaven crops.
Clean modern facilities, great management and staff combined with the excellent climate and volcanic soil are only part of the story. Sanitation is key to success and Dümmen does not skimp on any details here. Production with the highest quality standards was evident at both facilities visited.
Antigua, Guatemala is an ancient settlement, founded in the 16th century. Many of the local buildings date from the 17th century and Antigua is a UNESCO World Heritage Centre.
Into this ancient setting Dümmen has brought the very best of current horticultural practices and can provide quality production and distribution for a wide variety of PlantHaven varieties.
We’re very happy to have them as partners!
